Andrew is a graduate of the Master of Urban Studies program at Simon Fraser University. His research project explored the historical and present-day experience of Main Street SkyTrain station using a transportation and land-use framework and urban design principles for analysis. It also examined the role of urban design in station area redevelopment and the need to integrate transit, development and neighbourhood through principles of good connectivity, legibility and public realm.
Andrew is a member of the program committee for City Conversations, a lunch-time dialogue series at SFU Vancouver and an initiative of SFU Public Square. He also continues to write for the Urban Studies Blog, which features writing from students, alumni and friends of the program.
