Here are some recent photographs of the work going on at Main Street Station. The new east station house is being constructed at the moment which will include ground level retail space and an expanded entrance and concourse area. A curved steel frame for glass paneling is also being installed along the guideway and platform which will protect people from weather exposure and hopefully reduce noise coming from trains. A final rendering of the station is posted below and here.

This entrance will be more visible and accessible for people connecting from Pacific Central Station and northbound buses on Main Street – one poor aspect of the previous station design.
